Jon Moyers
Jon Moyers represented major U.S. corporations for 17 years in state and federal courts in multiple states, handling complex civil litigation. Representative clients included Monsanto, United Industries, Union Pacific, BNSF Railway, and Dow. For the past 13 years, he has focused his practice on representing individuals against corporations. He has successfully handled professional malpractice, sexual abuse, motor vehicle, railroad injury, and negligence lawsuits. Jon is a fellow of the American College of Trial Attorneys and the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is licensed in Montana, Wyoming, and Washington, and a member of multiple federal bars. - 1986: Joined Coburn & Croft in St. Louis, Missouri, representing major corporations, including St. Louis Southwestern Railway Co., Southern Pacific Railway Co., Illinois Central, Terminal Railroad, Yale Forklift, Phillips Petroleum, and Monsanto Chemical Co., handling multi-million-dollar damage claims.
- 1991: The firm merged with Thompson & Mitchell to form Thompson Coburn, where Jon continued to represent corporations, including Union Pacific, BNSF Railway Co., United Industries, American Cyanamid, and Clorox Co.
- 1999: Managing partner for the law firm in Montana, where he served as the principal litigator for BNSF for seven years.
- 2007: Founded Moyers Law, representing seriously injured persons in industrial accidents, occupational exposures, legal and medical malpractice claims, and railroad acute and cumulative trauma injuries.

- Won the largest FELA in-service verdict in Yellowstone County, Montana.

- Handled Lantham Act lawsuit regarding product claims by national pesticide companies.
- Assisted in the longest civil jury trial in U.S. history related to toxic chemical exposures.
- Obtained millions of dollars in jury awards and settlements related to injured persons and railroad workers.
- Obtained substantial confidential settlements in medical and legal malpractice claims.
Jon also is the co-author of the multi-volume Illinois Non-Pattern Jury Instructions (West Publ.), currently in its third edition.
